According to Blockchain, at the time of writing, hackers have moved 94,643 BTC to a new wallet. At the current exchange rate, the value of these assets exceeds $3.6 billion.
Before that, hackers moved funds in April 2021, after the listing of the bitcoin exchange Coinbase on Nasdaq. Then the first cryptocurrency rolled back from the highs, and the Telegram channel Goldfoundinshit recalled that traditionally such news causes a dump.
At the time of writing, the bitcoin price is holding at $38,300. Over the past day, BTC has grown by 3.4%, according to CoinGecko.

Bitfinex was hacked on August 2, 2016. In total, the attackers stole 119,756 BTC ($71.8 million at the exchange rate at that time, more than $4.6 billion at the current exchange rate).
In May 2020, unknown persons sent 30.667192 BTC from stolen funds to anonymous addresses. In August, 4,571 BTC and 473,3183 BTC started moving.
Recall that in October of the same year, the attackers moved bitcoins worth more than $ 30 million, in December — a total of 7,045.48 BTC.
